Top 3 wooden stools that honor Swiss design
The wooden stool should one day have its own personal museum, as it inspires designers. Icon of mountain interiors, it is constantly reinventing itself in aspects of eternal simplicity. Three of them won us over this year: Jakob by Tomas Kral for Søren Henrichsen which, with its inverted Y shape, acts as a stool and side table, and which gives off a kind of Japanese aura; Chalet Stool, that of Studio Seitz which offers unfailing solidity, in line with what was expected of stable "boots"; and Mazel, designed by Écalien Fabien Roy, made from spruce trees from the Risoux forest, and whose solid faceted legs are appreciated.
