Origin

The Helmhaus is shaped by structural rhythm. Repeating buttresses establish a measured cadence across its façade, while softly arched openings temper its solidity. Ornament gives way to proportion, creating a building whose presence comes from its structure.

Evolution

Helm is a study in reduction. Rhythm, proportion, and structure carry forward. Architectural relationships remain intact, allowing familiar qualities to emerge through the rhythm of the spindles, softly arched legs, and a measured sense of balance.
