FIG 1.

The Coffee Table leaves nothing to disguise. Each turn, a different reading.

FIG 3.

Different heights. Together, a broader landscape.

The Limmat finds its point of departure in a series of viaducts connecting Zürich’s city center over its namesake river. Their tiered structural braces reveal the architectural logic shaped from below.

THE WEIGHT
OF TIERS

Origin

The Limmat River's viaducts were built to be crossed. Their purpose lies in what they carry, but their identity is found below. Structural supports distribute weight with economy.

Evolution

The Limmat's tiered base shifts attention beneath the tabletop. Structural braces carry the weight and inform its character. Their role transcends support.
